Greg Bottone, DMD was born and raised in New Jersey, graduated from the University of South Carolina, and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1994. Following graduation, he completed a General Practice Residency at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ. He joined Gentle Family Dentistry in 1996, became a partner in 2000 and sole owner in 2019.
Dr. Bottone is licensed by the state of South Carolina, a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and a volunteer with Dental Christian Fellowship serving on mission trips to Haiti.
Dr. Bottone is happily married to his wife, Liane, and they have raised 4 amazing children.

Our restorative options include crowns, bridges, fillings, and full mouth rehabilitation, while our cosmetic services feature bonding, veneers, orthodontics, and whitening. We address conditions like cavities, missing teeth, bleeding gums, and sleep apnea, offering personalized care including Botox for TMJ.

Dr. Greg Bottone runs an amazing organization. The waiting room is well-decorated, stocked with magazines, and kept very clean. The front desk is operated by some of the finest staff I’ve ever met, and the story is no different upon entering the examination room. My family and I have loved coming to Gentle Family Dentistry ever since relocating to Charleston. If I could rate a business 6 stars, then this would be the one.
